The film received a lot of praise and didn’t take much time to become one of Netflix’s most-watched films. However, everyone had one question on their minds: Is Tyler Rake alive? So, to give a proper answer to that burning question, the streamer is coming out with the highly anticipated sequel to the 2020 movie.

‘Extraction 2’ once again chronicles the journey of Rake, a former Australian special force operator who is now working as a Black-ops mercenary. In the first movie, we saw him getting hired to rescue the son of a crime lord from Bangladesh. He didn’t leave any stone unturned to rescue the child and even risked his life in the process. The film ended with a massive cliffhanger: Rake falls into a river. No guesses there as he survived and is now set to go on another mission.
